Summer Hours Begin At The New Rochelle Libraries

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle libraries have released their summer hours for June through September.

The main New Rochelle Public Library will be closed Sundays from June 7 through Sept. 6. The Huguenot Children’s Library will be closed Saturdays from June 27 through Sept. 5. The main library will be open Saturdays, June 27 through Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both libraries will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

Both libraries will be closed Sept. 5-7 for Labor Day. Regular Saturday hours will resume at both libraries Sept. 12. The Main Library will resume its regular Sunday hours, from 1-5 p.m., Sept. 13. The Huguenot Children’s Library will remain closed Sundays. 

Summer hours at the Main Library are: 

  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays – 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • Wednesdays – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Fridays – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Saturdays – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • Sundays – Closed 

Summer hours at the Huguenot Children’s Library are: 

  • Mondays and Thursdays – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturdays – Closed 
  • Sundays – Closed
