Friday, Oct. 12
New Rochelle Farmers Market: 8 to 3 p.m. Purchase fresh produce and baked goods and see cooking demonstrations at this weekly market, which continues through the fall. New Rochelle Public Library green, One Library Plaza, New Rochelle.
Saturday, Oct. 13
Second Annual New Rochelle Harvest Festival Fund-raiser: 12 to 4 p.m. This festival will include live entertainment from the childrens band Nature Jams, a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, an apple cider press, local artisans and fall harvest food. Attendees can bring blankets to spread out and relax. The event was created to bring the city together and raise awareness for the Wildcliff renovation project. The cost for individuals is $5, with a $25 maximum per family. Residents can make tax-deductible donations to the organizations by credit card or check. Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library Book Sale: 9 to 3 p.m. Customers can find books and other items at bargain prices at this bi-weekly book store. New Rochelle Public Library, One Library Plaza, New Rochelle.
Pelham Womens AA: 9 to 11 a.m. This Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place at Christ Church, 1415 Pelhamdale Ave., Pelham.

New Rochelle Paine To Paine Train Half-Marathon: 9 a.m. The fifth annual race is run on the Colonial Greenway through New Rochelle, Mamaroneck, Eastchester, and Scarsdale. A very small part is run on pavement. 12 of the 13.1 miles are run on dirt, rocks, and roots. 345 Main St., New Rochelle.

Pelham Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Pelham Farmers Market offers produce, breads, pastry, wine and specialty products. Harmon Avenue off Fifth Avenue, Pelham.
