The performances will take place on Library Green, along with the Business Improvement District Farmers Market, or the library’s Ossie Davis Theater in the event of inclement weather.
Craft projects and science experiments will be available for children on Library Green and in the meeting room.
Parents will have an opportunity to register their children for the summer reading incentive program, which has the theme “Fizz, Boom, Read! Science is Magic.” Registered children will receive materials to keep track of the books they read during the summer so they can win prizes and receive an invitation to the end-of-summer reading party.
