Links, Incorporated Celebrates Anniversary With New Rochelle Gala

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hold a "Java & Jazz" gala fundraiser on Sunday at the VIP Country Club in celebration of its 65th anniversary. The gala will feature African-American musicians and artists and a silent auction.

The Westchester County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was founded in 1950.

Six women charted the Westchester County Chapter in 1950 for the cultural and economic sustainment and enrichment of local African-American communities. The Links, Incorporated is one of the largest and oldest women's volunteer organizations in the nation.

The gala luncheon begins at noon and ends at 5 p.m. VIP Country Club is on 600 Davenport Ave. in New Rochelle.
