Habitat For Humanity Hosting Sept. 11 Build-a-thon

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Habitat for Humanity of Westchester will be hosting its annual 9/11 bulid-a-thon this Friday in honor of those who died during the tragic events that occurred Sept. 11, 2001.

The theme will be how 9/11 forever changed the world.

Habitat for Humanity of Westchester is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the not-for-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry founded by Millard and Linda Fuller in 1976. Habitat of Weschester has thousands of volunteers who seek to eliminate poverty and homelessness throughout Westchester County and to make decent, affordable housing a matter of conscience and public action.
