Assemblyman Steve Otis To Address New Rochelle LWV Meeting

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle League of Women Voters will welcome New York state Assemblyman Steve Otis on Friday.

Otis will be the featured guest at the New Rochelle League of Women Voters’ monthly “Coffee and Conversation” from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the meeting room of the New Rochelle Public Library.

Otis is set to discuss current issues in New York State government, and his first 10 months serving the 91st Assembly District, which includes the Sound Shore communities of Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Port Chester, Rye and Rye Brook.

Otis served as mayor of the City of Rye for 12 years from 1998 to 2009. In the state, Otis served as long-time counsel and chief of staff to state Sen. Suzi Oppenheimer until his election to the Assembly. 

A question and answer session is set to follow Assemblyman Otis’ informal presentation. Complimentary coffee and light breakfast fare will be served.
