Winner, Winner: Prize-Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At This Freeport Store

Lottery officials announced that a local store sold a prize-winning ticket worth tens of thousands of dollars.

The Take 5 ticket was sold at Curiosity Cards & Gifts, located at 193 Atlantic Avenue in Freeport, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket, worth $19,313, was sold as part of the Monday, June 3 drawing.

Winning Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Prizes of any amount can be claimed up to one year from the drawing date.

In the 2022-2023 fiscal year, the New York Lottery contributed $3.7 billion to help support education in New York State.
