Mother, Daughter Fatally Stabbed In Yonkers A large-scale investigation is underway after a mother and daughter were found stabbed to death in their Westchester home. Yonkers police discovered the two women around 4:30 p.m, on Monday, Nov. 1, after receiving a request for a welfare check from a friend who had not heard from the daughter since Friday, Oct. 29. Yonkers Police Commissioner John Mueller said during a press conference that when officers from the 2nd Precinct arrived no one answered the door and officers found a broken window in the back of the home.
