Silver Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Woman A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Long Island woman who has clinical depression and may have early-stage Alzheimer’s. Evelyn Fiscina, age 83, was last seen on Galway Place, located in the hamlet of West Hills in the town of Huntington, on Thursday, Oct. 7 at approximately 2 p.m., Suffolk County Police said. Fiscina is approximately 5-foot-1, 140 pounds with green eyes and gray hair.  She was last seen driving a 2017 blue Toyota Camry with New York registration HRF-4297. Man Critically Injured Falling Off Ladder At Long Island Home A man was critically injured after falling off a ladder of a Long Island home. The incident happened Tuesday, July 20 at approximately 11:45 a.m. in the hamlet of West Hills in the Town of Huntington. A 55-year-old man was cleaning windows on an extension ladder at Green Meadow Lane when he fell, Suffolk County Police said. The man was transported to Huntington Hospital with critical injuries.  The man’s identification is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Long Island Landscaper Dies After Fall From Tree A Long Island landscaper died after a fall from a tree. Vicente Oliver, a landscaper for Rodney’s Landscaping LLC, was trimming a tree in the hamlet of West Hills in the Town of Huntington, outside of 6 Bluebird Lane when a branch he was secured to broke causing Oliver to fall approximately 40-feet to the ground at approximately 10:55 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, Suffolk County Police said.
