Drunk Driver Who Failed To Stay In Lane Had Child In Pickup Truck, Police Say A Long Island man was driving drunk with a child in his pickup truck when he was pulled over for failing to stay in his lane, police say. Wesley Charles 40, of Bay Shore, was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup eastbound on Sunrise Highway near Exit 55 in North Patchogue when a Highway Patrol officer observed the vehicle failing to maintain a lane and initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, Suffolk County Police said.
