Convicted Murderer Sentenced For Wantagh Drunk Driving Crash That Paralyzed Woman
A man who spent more than two decades in prison for murder is heading back behind bars for causing a drunk driving crash on Long Island that left a woman paralyzed. Lumumba Woods, age 50, of Manhattan, was sentenced to the maximum of seven years in prison in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Jan. 24. It came weeks after a jury found him guilty of second-degree assault, vehicular assault, and two counts of driving while intoxicated.
