Police are investigating a drive-up stabbing attack outside a Long Island home that left a man seriously injured. The attack happened just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, in Brentwood, outside a home on MacArthur Avenue near Merrill Street, according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators said the victim was sitting in a chair on the sidewalk when two men in a black car pulled up in front of him. Police are asking for help in tracking down a delivery driver accused of assaulting an employee at a gated community on Long Island. The incident happened Thursday, July 13, at Lake Grove’s Encore at Lake Grove condos, according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators said the delivery driver got out of his car and struck the victim in their face. The victim was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Construction Site Accident: Man Critically Injured In Malverne
An investigation is underway after a person was critically injured in an incident on Long Island. It happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 19 in Malverne. That's when a 69-year-old man was struck by a Bobcat excavator, operated by a 29-year-old man while working on a construction site at a Malverne residence, Nassau County Police said. The victim, whose identity has not been released, suffered serious injuries and was transported by a Nassau County Police Helicopter to a local hospital for treatment. A 21-year-old man was hospitalized after being victimized in a drive-by shooting on a residential road on Long Island, police said. Shots rang out on Prospect Street near the intersection of 45th Street in North Amityville at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, with two bullets striking the man, who was standing outside an area home. 21-Year-Old Man Injured In Shooting On Residential Long Island Street
A man was injured in a shooting on a residential Long Island street overnight. It happened Thursday, Oct. 8 approximately 7:50 p.m. in North Bellport. Suffolk County Police officers responded to 911 call of a man shot on the 600 block of Michigan Avenue. The 21-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
