Grab-Run Theft: Trio Make Off With $24K In Versace Handbags At Manhasset Store Police are searching for a man and two women who allegedly made off with more than $24,000 in handbags from a Versace store on Long Island. The incident took place in Nassau County around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Versace store in Manhasset, located at 2006 Northern Blvd. According to detectives, a man, and two women entered the store and grabbed various bags, and exited the store without making a payment.  The bags were valued in excess of $24,000 dollars, police said. Police said that two men entered LensCrafters on Middle Country Road at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, where they were caught on camera stealing the eyeglass frames. According to police, the stolen Versace and Burberry frames had an estimated value of approximately $2,800.
