Duo Nabbed For String Of Long Island Business Burglaries
Two suspects have been arrested in connection to nearly a dozen Long Island business burglaries and an attempted burglary.
Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives, Frank Costa, age 54, of Port Jefferson, and Jon Pucci, age 29, of Middle Island, were apprehended in Centereach for allegedly committing the following burglaries during which cash and cigarettes were stolen:

Three Long Island Store Clerks Charged With Selling Alcohol, Vape Products To Minors
Three Long Island store workers have been charged for selling alcohol and/or vape products to minors, police said.
In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol and vapes to minors during which five businesses were checked for compliance with the law.
The detail was conducted between 9 p.m. Saturday, March 27, and 12 a.m. Sunday, March 28 in the Town of Babylon.

Two Long Island Gas Station Robberies Could Be Linked, Police Say
Suffolk County detectives are working to determine if two robberies that occurred just hours, and miles, apart are related.
The first robbery took place around 7:35 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, when a man walked into USA Gas, at 188 N. Wellwood Ave., in Lindenhurst, and demanded money. He left the store with cash, Suffolk County Police said.
Roughly four hours later, a man robbed the Exxon, at 570 Sunrise Highway, in West Islip, police said. The man left with cash in the second robbery as well.
