Two New Cases Of West Nile Virus Reported On Long Island Two new cases of West Nile virus have been confirmed on Long Island, according to the Department of Health. In Suffolk County, Southold Police Chief Martin Flatley said a 34-year-old victim from Laurel suffered an overdose at his home, but was revived with Narcan.
