The incident occurred in Lake Grove on Sunday, March 17, after a wallet was stolen in Bohemia. Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs saw Lester Franco, of Bay Shore, driving at high speeds on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia at about 3 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, and pulled the vehicle over on Johnson Avenue on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, the Sheriff's Office reported on Monday, Aug. 15. Long Island Woman, 42, Arrested For Bank Of America Robbery A 42-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly robbing a bank on Long Island. The robbery occurred Wednesday, Sept. 11 at about 2:30 p.m. in Holbrook, Suffolk County Police said. Michele Atkinson, 42, of Bohemia entered Bank of America, located at 4400 Veterans Memorial Highway, approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash, according to police.
