24-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed On Residential Long Island Roadway An investigation is underway after a 24-year-old was fatally stabbed during a fight on a residential Long Island roadway. Suffolk County Police Third Precinct police officers responded to a report of the stabbing in Bay Shore on Walbridge Avenue at approximately 12:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15. The victim, Anthony Gilbert, was stabbed during the fight in the street, according to police. Gilbert, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
