Stop For Failure To Signal Turn Leads To Felony DWI Charge For Long Island Man A 39-year-old man from Long Island with a previous conviction for driving while impaired refused to cooperate police before he was busted for a second alleged DWI by Suffolk County Sheriff’s deputies. Deputies stopped East Patchogue resident Matthew Crowley at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, after he failed to signal and was involved in a crash at the intersection of Dovecote Lane and Suffolk Avenue in Commack.
