Man, Woman, Teen Shot At Long Island Apartment Complex
Three people, including a 15-year-old, were shot on Long Island during what police say may have been a targeted hit.
Riverhead Police responded to multiple 911 reports of a shooting around 1:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 23, at the Riverpoint Apartment Complex located on East Main Street, in Riverhead, said Det. Michael Schmidt.
Additional 911 calls reported that people had been shot during the incident. Responding officers initially located two gunshot victims inside one of the apartments, a 15-year-old male and a 46-year-old female, Schmidt said.
