Passenger Killed When Vehicle Slams Into Long Island Home, Police Say A passenger in a vehicle that ran into a Long Island home has died from injuries after being ejected from the car.  The single-car crash took place around 5 a.m., Friday, Dec. 17 when the 2007 Toyota sedan slammed into a two-story residence on Flanders Road, said the Southampton Police. Man Killed During Single-Vehicle Crash On Long Island One man was killed during a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened around 1:23 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, in Southampton on Noyack Road between Majors Path and Straight Path. When officers responded to the scene, they found a 2012 Ford F350 landscaping truck crashed into a wooded area off the roadway, said Southampton Police Lt. Susan Ralph.
