Cement Truck Collision Leaves Man Injured On Long Island: Police A Long Island man is in serious condition after he collided with a cement truck, police said. It happened on Friday, Sept. 15 in Manorville, according to Suffolk County Police. At approximately 12:30 p.m., 40-year-old Aaron Wolk was driving a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle on South Street when, at the intersection of Silas Woods Road, he purportedly struck a cement truck. Wolk, a Medford resident, was taken to a local hospital via helicopter and remains in serious condition. The 59-year-old driver of the cement truck was not injured. The tornado touched down in eastern Suffolk County in Manorville, just north of Route 27 (Sunrise Highway) in the area of Dayton Avenue from 4:33 p.m. to 4:38 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2.
