New Information: Woman Found Dead Off Long Beach Drowned, Police Say
This story has been updated. A woman who reportedly drowned off the coast a Long Island beach had gone missing a day before she was discovered, over 20 miles away from where her body was found. Sherica Douglas-Campbell, the 37-year-old Valley Stream woman recently identified as the woman found dead at Long Beach, had been reported missing to police on Monday, Sept. 4, according to Nassau County Police.
