Man Charged For String Of Larcenies On Long Island A string of thefts from vehicles in Suffolk County this month has led to the arrest of an area man on Saturday, July 20. Following an investigation of larcenies in Middle Island and Ridge by Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers, Michael Pearl, 26, of Middle Island was identified in several larceny cases where he took items from parked, unlocked cars in the Ridge and Middle Island areas. Pearl was charged with six counts of criminal possession of stolen property for: Stealing power tools from a 2001 Ford E350, parked on Oakridge Circle, Ridge, on May 22.
