On Wednesday, May 4, Jose Osorio of Babylon broke into a home in Babylon through a basement window and stole multiple items, including a key fob for a vehicle, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.  Because the key fob had an Apple air tag attached to it, police were able to track it down to Osorio's address, which identified him as a suspect, Tierney said.  Osorio was then arrested at a local pawn shop while trying …

Police: Man Enters Nassau Home Through Unlocked Door, Threatens Resident A Long Island man was arrested after police said he entered a home and threatened one of the residents. The Nassau County Police Department reported that on Wednesday, July 14, at about 9:20 p.m., Shawn Paprocki, age 42, of Baldwin, entered the home in Oceanside through an unlocked door.  Police said a 54-year-old man who lives in the home confronted Paprocki, and Paprocki began threatening him.
