UPS Driver Steals Packages At Long Island House, Police Say A seasonal UPS driver turned porch pirate on Long Island was arrested after stealing packages from area houses, police said. North Amityville resident Richard Beltre, 30, was working as a seasonal UPS driver on Monday, Dec. 2, when he delivered a package to a home on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon, Suffolk County Police said. Beltre proceeded to steal several packages that had been delivered to the same address by the United States Postal Service, according to police.
