Man, Woman Charged After Dispute With Employees At Nassau Hotel Turns Violent A man and a woman were arrested after allegedly having a violent dispute with employees at a Long Island hotel and then with police officers. According to Nassau County detectives, the incident took place around 1:15 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, in Baldwin when officers responded to a 911 call for a disturbance at the Ramada Inn hotel located at 1000 Sunrise Highway.  An investigation found that Jacqueline Wilson, age 31, of Queens, had a dispute with an employee before striking the worker in the face, police said. Fire Breaks Out At Nassau County Ramada Inn A malfunctioning air conditioner caused a fire at a Ramada Inn on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Ramada Inn at 1000 Sunrise Highway in Baldwin, said the Nassau County Police. The fire was contained to one room and the fire department was able to extinguish it quickly, officials said. No guests or personnel were injured.
