102-Year-Old Dies From Injuries After Massapequa Crash Involving Nassau County Police Vehicle A 102-year-old local man has died from injuries a week after a two-vehicle Long Island crash involving a police cruiser. The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9 in Massapequa. LI Cop Hospitalized After Drunk Driver Crashes Into Cruiser, Police Say A police officer was hospitalized after his cruiser was struck by another vehicle in a Long Island crash involving an allegedly drunk driver. The Riverhead Police Department reported that Kenneth Hamilton, age 47, of Wading River, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after his vehicle struck the cruiser.
