Emergency crews in Coram were called Monday, Jan. 23, with reports that a 1-month-old baby girl was having trouble breathing, according to Suffolk County Police. After responding to the 911 call, officer Peter Laub slapped the baby’s back while officer Patrick Hanley cleared the baby’s airway, police said. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, when Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call of a suicidal man who was threatening to jump from the roof of the Capital One Bank, located at 356 Middle Country Road, in Coram.
