'Heinous Actions': Long Island Dad Admits Sexually Abusing Daughter, Son For Years A 36-year-old father from Long Island has admitted to subjecting his two children to years of sexual abuse. The West Babylon resident, who prosecutors are not naming to protect the victims’ identities, pleaded guilty to multiple sex crimes in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Sept. 6. According to prosecutors, the man began sexually abusing his daughter, now age 10, during visitation periods when she was still wearing diapers. The abuse continued when he moved to West Babylon in November 2020. The last incident occurred during a camping trip at the Peconic River campground in May 2022. …
