East Northport Man, 29, Drove Drunk With 5-Year-Old In SUV, Police Say A 29-year-old Long Island man with a prior conviction was charged with DWI under Leandra's Law. The man, identified as Ross Nonnenmacher, was pulled over around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in East Northport, Suffolk County Police said. Nonnenmacher, of East Northport, was driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue southbound on Tompkins Street with his 5-year-old son in the vehicle when he was stopped by Second Precinct Patrol officers. Nonnenmacher was arrested and transported to the Second Precinct. The 5-year-old was released to the custody of a family member. The Nissan was impounded. Sec…
