Memorial Day celebrations will have a different look in New York this year due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. During his daily COVID-19 briefing on Tuesday, May 19 held on Long Island at Northwell Health’s Feinstein Institute for Medical Research in Manhasset, Gov. Ambulatory care and elective surgeries are being permitted in both Nassau and Suffolk counties as Long Island continues to make “great progress” in the battle against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
