Joshua Roston, age 38 of Baldwin, received his conviction on Friday, Oct. 27 for the 2019 murder of Cemal ‘John’ Dagdeviren, the Nassau County District Attorney announced. Man Killed In DWI Crash In Baldwin Identified Police have identified a man who was killed in a suspected DWI crash on Long Island. Scott Freeman, age 66, of North Baldwin, died as a result of the crash that occurred early Tuesday, May 3, in Baldwin at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Carl Avenue, Nassau County Police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic. The other driver, 31-year-old Jinaraya Khan, of Baldwin, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. It happened at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, April 14 in Melville. Marie Louis, age 56, of North Amityville, was driving a 2005 Honda Civic westbound in the eastbound lanes of Express Drive South at Maxess Road, when the vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC, Suffolk County Police said.
