Man Found Dead Floating In Water In Glen Cove, Police Say Police are investigating after a man was found dead floating in the water on Long Island. The incident occurred in Nassau County in the area of the Safe Harbor Marina in Glen Cove around 8:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 27. According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 911 call was received for a person floating in the water in the Safe Harbor Marina located at 128 Shore Road.  Glen Cove Police, the Nassau County Marine Bureau, Nassau County Emergency Service Unit and the Glen Cove Fire Department all responded to the area. Driver Rescued After Car Crashes Into Trees, Sump Off LIE In Nassau A 52-year-old man suffered multiple fractures to his legs and hypothermia following a car crash off the Long Island Expressway. The crash took place around 11:16 a.m., Monday, April 12 at North Marginal Road and the Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, said the Nassau County Police. According to police, officers responding to the crash found a 2020 Ford that had left North Marginal Road and into the woods. Officers from the Nassau County Police Department responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Jacob Street in Elmont at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, April 2.
