Long Island Woman Charged With DWI After Crash Seriously Injures Man, Police Say A Long Island woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated after she struck a man with a motor vehicle overnight. The incident happened Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020 at around 2:30 a.m. in Mount Sinai. Jennifer Hohn, 40, of Saint James, was driving a 2018 Toyota northbound in front of 745 Mount Sinai Coram Road, when she crashed the vehicle into a parked 2010 GMC pickup truck occupied by a man and woman, Suffolk County Police said. Long Island Man Killed After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree A Long Island man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a tree. It happened just after 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20 in Mount Sinai, Suffolk County Police said. Ralph Maiello, 55, of Coram, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on County Road 83 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree just south of Mount Sinai-Coram Road, according to police. Maiello was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was pronounced dead. The pickup truck was impounded for a safety check.  Detectives are asking …

IDs Released For Two Victims Of Triple-Fatal Crash Involving Three Women The identities of two of the three women killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash on Long Island have been released. The crash happened around 11 p.m., Monday, July 8 in Mount Sinai when the 2010 black Jeep Liberty left the roadway and hit a utility pole, causing it to fall on the driver's side, and burst into flames, said the Suffolk County Police.
