This 'Tremendous' Bellmore Spot Voted Long Island's Best Burrito
Diners say this Long Island eatery, with its huge portions and tasty ingredients, has the best burrito around.
Fat Boy’s Burrito Company, located at 2496 Merrick Road in Bellmore, is Long Island’s favorite burrito spot, according to the 2024 Bethpage Best of Long Island awards.
The eatery, which also has locations in Plainview and Northport, offers over 25 different styles of their famous “fat” burritos — which live up to their name, being stuffed to the brim with flavors both classic and inventive.

Thanksgiving Day Burglary: Man Robs Bellmore Business, Flees, Police Say
Authorities are searching for a man who they say broke into a Long Island business on Thanksgiving and ran off with cash.
The burglary happened on Thursday, Nov. 23 in Bellmore.
According to Nassau County Police, the robber used a crowbar to break the front door to Speedway, located at 2670 Merrick Road, just before 2:30 a.m.
After making his way inside, he grabbed an unknown amount of cash and ran, fleeing west toward South St. Marks Avenue.
The burglar was wearing black pants, black shoes, a green mask, and a green winter jacket.

Best Chinese Takeout Found At This Bellmore Eatery, Voters Say
Tonight, skip the dirty dishes and order in the best Chinese food around, according to voters.
Danny’s Chinese Kitchen, located in Bellmore at 2370 Merrick Road, was named as having the best Chinese takeout on Long Island on the 2023 Bethpage Best of Long Island awards.
Founded in January 2014 by brothers Daniel and David Antin, the restaurant has since expanded to include locations in Oceanside and Syosset.
“We're not reinventing Chinese food, we're doing it right,” reads the restaurant’s Yelp profile. “Freshness, authenticity, and neighborhood charm sets Danny's apart from the rest.”
