A man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed an 88-year-old woman multiple times during an argument on Long Island and fled, authorities said. It happened on Monday, Sept. 11 in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 6 p.m., a fight broke out between 32-year-old Hempstead resident Teron C. A 40-year-old man who is accused of attempting to stab two police detectives on Long Island has been indicted. A Long Island juvenile has been arrested for allegedly attempting to murder a man and woman and attacking police officers with a knife. The incident took place around 12:39 p.m., Wednesday, May 5 in Roosevelt, said the Nassau County Police. Armed Long Island Man Arrested After Hours-Long Standoff With Police
A man who armed himself with what appeared to be a rifle and barricaded himself inside his Long Island residence for nearly four hours has been apprehended. The landlord for the property located in Rocky Point at 56 Shell Road called 911 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26 to report that her tenant, Damien Loecher, had locked himself inside the residence following a verbal dispute, Suffolk County Police said.
