New Principal Announced In Oyster Bay A Long Island school has appointed a principal just in time for the new school year, school officials announced. On Monday, Sept. 11, the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District announced that Melissa Argaman was appointed as the new principal of Oyster Bay High School. Argaman’s new title was effective Thursday, Sept. 7, and came in the wake of previous principal Sharon Lasher’s retirement, the district said.
