Man Punches Victim In Face, Then Fights, Injures Officers At New Hyde Park Gym, Cops Say A man was charged with assault after allegedly punching another man in the face at a Long Island gym and then fighting with, and injuring, police officers attempting to arrest him. The incident took place in New Hyde Park around 3:50 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at the LA Fitness located on Marcus Avenue.
