Bellerose Resident Killed In Crash Near Long Island Intersection
Police are are investigating after a fatal crash near a busy Long Island intersection. It happened around noon Saturday, July 30 in Kings Park. Gregory Petriella, age 66, of Bellerose, was operating a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle northeast on Pulaski Road near Main Street when he suffered an apparent medical episode, Suffolk County Police said. He lost control of the motorcycle and swerved off the road, police said. Petriella was transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown where he was pronounced dead. Four Nabbed For Selling E-Liquid Nicotine To Minors On Long Island
Four adults on Long Island are accused of selling liquid nicotine to minors at businesses around Suffolk County. Police began investigating after receiving multiple complaints from the community, according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators subsequently checked numerous businesses in the area for compliance and determined that four individuals had sold E-liquid nicotine to people under the age of 21, police said. Man Wanted For Stealing iPhones From Long Island T-Mobile Store
An alert has been issued by police agencies on Long Island as they attempt to identify and locate a man who allegedly stole nearly $1,500 in cell phones from a T-Mobile store. Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives issued an alert for a wanted man who allegedly stole two cell phones from T-Mobile in Kings Park earlier this year. It is alleged that the man stole two iPhone 11s from the Main Street store on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The phones had an estimated value of approximately $1,400.
