Gang Member Sentenced For Teen's Shooting Death In Hempstead: DA A Long Island Crips gang member will spend over two decades behind bars for the December 2020 killing of a teenager. Jayden Woods, aged 23, of Hempstead, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Tuesday, July 11, for his role in the death of 17-year-old Omarion Jackson, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Woods pleaded guilty to the charges that, on the night of December 21, 2020, a group of five men – including Jackson – went to Woods’ Stewart Avenue house.
