Search For Suspect Causes Lockouts At Seven Long Island Schools Multiple schools were placed into their lockout protocols as police on Long Island conduct a search for a wanted man. Seven schools in Massapequa and Farmingdale were entered into lockouts on Friday, Jan. 31, as a precaution as police attempt to locate a suspect involved in an alleged domestic dispute in Suffolk County before fleeing west toward Nassau County. In Massapequa, Lockhart, East Lake, and McKenna elementary schools and the Massapequa High School’s Ames campus entered the protocol.
