Details Emerge After Fire Rips Through Row Of Nassau County Stores New details have been released after an early morning four-alarm fire damaged several businesses at a Long Island shopping plaza. The fire started around 2:40 a.m., Friday, Nov. 22 in Cedarhurst when Nassau County Police called the Lawrence Cedarhurst Fire Department reporting smoke coming from the building.
