Long Island Man Nabbed For DWI After Crash Injuring Three, Police Say
A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man. The crash took place around 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12 in Selden. Oscar Renee Castro-Mendez, age 45, of Selden, was backing his 2006 Ford F150 into a driveway at 255 Boyle Road when his vehicle was struck by a northbound 2018 Ford 250 driven by Kevin Jones, age 44, according to Suffolk County Police.
