Police Seek Info In Murder Of 47-Year-Old Long Island Man Police have asked the public for information on the murder of a 47-year-old man who was found fatally shot in his Long Island home nearly one year ago. Josue Bedell was found dead in his Mastic home on Poospatuck Lane on July 4, 2021, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.  Authorities asked the public for help identifying the suspect or suspects in the case. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.  Tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.

Man Found Shot Dead At His Long Island Home A suspect is at large after a man was found fatally shot in his Long Island home. Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to a 911 call from the family of Josue Bedell, age 47, requesting a wellness check at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, July 4, saying they had been unable to get in contact with him since Saturday, July 3.  Police entered the home, located in Mastic, at Poospatuck Lane in the Poospatuck Reservation, and found Bedell, 47, dead with a gunshot wound.
