Long Island Man Pulled Over Driving 109 MPH In 35 Zone Charged With DWI, Sheriff Says A Long Island man who was allegedly driving more than three times the speed limit has been charged with DWI. Suffolk County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over Jevon Bell, 24, of Mastic, on the Sunrise Highway (Route 27) in Brookhaven on Saturday, Dec. 21 at about 1:12 a.m. Bell was observed exceeding the posted 35 miles-per-hour speed limit by traveling 109 MPH, the sheriff's office said.  Bell demonstrated clues while performing standardized field sobriety tests indicating he was intoxicated, according to the sheriff's office.  Bell was arrested and transported to Suffolk…
