Nassau County Woman Accused Of Biting Police Officer A Long Island woman is facing an assault charge after allegedly getting drunk and biting a police officer attempting to intervene during a verbal dispute at her home. Officers from the Nassau County Police Department responded in Glen Head to a Ronan Road residence shortly after 7:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, where there was a report of a verbal dispute involving an intoxicated 50-year-old woman.
