Hicksville Man Posing As Cop Pulls Over Van Full Of Detectives, Police Say
A 25-year-old man who was pretending to be a police officer got quite a surprise when he pulled over a van of detectives on Long Island, leading to a chase on the Long Island Expressway, and his arrest, police said.
The incident happened on Friday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. in Hicksville., Nassau County Police said
The man, Valiery Portlock, of Hicksville, was traveling northbound on Hicksville Road in a black Nissan Sentra in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue when he activated his air horn and emergency lights in an attempt to pull over a van, according to police.
