Police are searching for two people who they say robbed a Long Island ShopRite, pushing an employee and later spraying him with pepper spray. A Long Island man who robbed the same local 7-Eleven two times has been apprehended months later, police announced. On Thursday, Sept. 28, Nassau County Police announced the arrest of Kenneth Amblo, age 51 of Bethpage, for his purported roles in two separate robberies at the same location. Police are searching for a robber who took money from and pulled a knife on an employee from a Long Island 7-Eleven. It happened on Thursday, Aug. 24 in Bethpage, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 3:05 a.m., the man walked into the 7-Eleven located at 4220 Hempstead Turnpike and grabbed several items before walking up to the register. Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car In Bethpage
A man is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a car on Long Island, authorities said. Emergency crews in Bethpage were called at around 4:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, with reports of a crash involving a pedestrian, Nassau County Police said. Investigators said the 57-year-old man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike near Stewart Avenue when he was struck by a westbound sedan driven by a 73-year-old man. He suffered serious body trauma and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, police said. The driver remained at the scene. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

A 61-year-old man is recovering following a head-on car crash on Long Island that sent two people to the hospital. Nassau County Police were called just before 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, with reports of a serious crash in Bethpage, at Hempstead Turnpike and Stewart Avenue. Man Killed After Being Struck By Car Near Busy Nassau County Intersection
A 42-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle near a busy Long Island intersection overnight. It happened on Monday, Sept. 7 at 9:20 p.m. in Bethpage. While attempting to cross Hempstead Turnpike from the north side to the south side, in the vicinity of Stewart Avenue, the man was struck by a 2018 Jaguar traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike, Nassau County Police said.
