Caught Red-Handed: Would-Be Burglars Crash Into Cop Car While Fleeing Lake Success Scene Three  New Jersey men were arrested after they quite literally ran into police on the way back from the scene of a Long Island crime, police said. The crash happened on Saturday, Jan. 13 in the Nassau County village of Lake Success, according to Nassau County Police. Just before 3 a.m. that day, the three men reportedly attempted to burgle a home on Meadow Woods Road. Duo Nabbed With Loaded Glock During Inwood Traffic Stop, Police Say Two people were nabbed with a loaded Glock-19 during a traffic stop on Long Island. The incident took place in Inwood around 12:50 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5 on Burnside Avenue. According to Nassau County detectives, officers on patrol spotted a 2021 Toyota failing to maintain its lane while traveling eastbound on Burnside Avenue.  Officers stopped the Toyota and during an investigation found a Glock-19 semi-automatic loaded firearm.
