The alleged thief, 55-year-old Andre Christmas of Uniondale, was arrested at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10 in Hempstead for an alleged string of robberies. Luke was born on August 14, 1949 in Edgewater, NJ, and raised in Franklin Square, Long Island and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. At Hendrick Hudson High School, Luke performed in several musicals and plays including “Oklahoma” and “Anastasia” and was cast as Buffalo Bill in “Annie Get Your Gun.” His passion for theater continued at Harpur College, Binghamton University where he majored in Cinema Arts.
